I’m not sure what to make of this trend with domineering hockey players. It seems to be a trope that’s popping up more often in books I’ve read lately, and I’m not entirely sold on it. That being said, the rest of the story was enjoyable, and I still found a lot to appreciate.

For some reason I thought it had two endings and was waiting for the conclusion. Overall, I think I enjoy the family scenes in this series when they all play off each other more than I love the spice and conflict.

i am not a huge fan of friends to lovers because half the time yall are so blatantly in love. but they were cute :)
the whole runaway bride thing was so funny and i really love how all of elsie's books feel so movie vibes. i just wish i would've read the other series because all of violet and her besties were giving me fomo but my bad! didn't realize there was required reading!
i also like how reckless was half introed in this. so fun.
