Quick easy & cheesy beach/airplane read. A bit over-the-top at times but enjoyable enough.

It was good but not as good as others I’ve read recently and definitely not a page turner to deserve the 5. But still okay. One I don’t regret reading but also not one I’d like recommend.

This book was wholesome and easy to read. Only thing actually missing was a twist element. However, Melinda made my eye twitch, and Russell gave me creepy old man vibes. But you always have that with books so I was okay with it haha

This book made me mad probably about 60% of the time. Melinda made me want to throw the book. Russell was an idiot. Leo ignored his family. Lauren's brother and sister-in-law think they should control Evelyn. Lauren was more concerned about her career than having the baby return to their family. Also, it took 200 too many pages for the baby to come into the picture. Honestly, somebody should have called the cops for child abandonment.

I would give it 2.5 stars but decided to round up

Appreciated the multiple POVs and the growth of relationships in the book among family, friends and even strangers.

Though, it was too chaotic for me. And then unrealistic at times… who leaves their child for weeks with “strangers”?!
