This was the perfect palette cleanser book. A little found family, a little romance, set in New York City, just the right amount of drama. Heartwarming and interesting enough to keep me hooked for a few days.
This was quirky and fun and ridiculous and heart-warming.
Wacky and ridiculous, but also sweet and a tad sentimental. Loved the Manhattan setting, but it took about 2/3 of the book for the characters and plot to really gel
LOVED the first half. I enjoyed how the characters intertwined. I could’ve done without the “letters” that made it seem like the author was just adding a bunch of info to move the plot along quickly. But it had really cute, funny parts!
DNF I didn’t like the characters and I didn’t care to find out what happened.
i loved the characters of this book but it was just so drawn out and i felt like i was reading forever
This one is all about the characters! This is my first book by Poeppel, but it will definitely not be my last!
This was a delight to listen to. The audiobook had a cast of characters and the audio kept me really engaged. It reminded me of Someone Else’s Shoes in the way that an unlikely group of people come together and move through ridiculous, but believable, situations. It was a unique book with depth. I really enjoyed it and can see it as a television series.
