I watched the limited series before I read the book so I knew what was going to happen/what was happening all along. I think that the series packed a bigger punch with the reveal at the end vs the book. Although I do kind of appreciate the nonchalance and the shortness of the reveal at the end of the book. Either way, wild concept and enjoyed.

I was gonna give it a three but icl. The story didn't interest me too much, even the big twist at the end didn't have that much of a big impact on me which is sad. I didn't hate it but i did feel intolerant towards it which is not great.
Ending was wack and felt cheap. The main character sucked and deserved everything that happened to her tho lol
4 stars because I couldn’t put it down. But the supernatural part of the story seemed an easy way out. And the end really was a bit ridiculous.
I don’t really know where to begin. This is probably one of the first books ever that I couldn’t guess the ending. It definitely held my attention, I just wish it wasn’t as far fetched and out there. Overall, I liked it—I just wish it was a little more realistic, but I also understand that wasn’t the concept of the book.
