Var riktigt besviken på slutet fram till den sista halvtimmen eller så i ljudboken när "bomben" släpptes och förändrade allt. I did not see that coming. Ser att några klagar på att det blandas genrer i boken men jag tycker däremot om det.

Well! I was going to give this a 2 star cuz I did predict the twists and turns which was good for me since this book is unique. However, I did go up .5 a star cuz I did not predict that very last chapter!

i dont really know how to rate this. the story, the characters.... they just annoyed and bored me while reading. i am somewhat glad that i read to the last chapter, because i have to be honest - the plot twist was pretty cool. too bad it's just not at all guessable because it's on such a different level than the rest of the story. that makes it too random and gives the feeling that it wasn't necessarily built up to in the rest of the story. that ending was not worth the whole ride.

Perfect example of “author didn’t really think about the implications of what they were writing and just went with the most shocking thing possible”. I cannot possibly be the only one to have found the last plot twist “poor guy from a disadvantaged background who’s also a drug addict kills the beautiful and naive rich woman to steal her body just so he could romance her future husband” to be. slightly bad taste right? [it was a predictable twist though I had come close to guessing it, what threw me off was the fact he kept referencing to himself through feminine terms even though by the end he pretty much explicitly says he does indeed see himself as a guy even in Adele’s body. Which adds another whole set of unpleasant implications I’m not even gonna try to unpack here]
