Why did I enjoy this SO much when it was as ridiculous and far-fetched as any fluff thriller I've ever read and groaned aloud at?? Plus there's a supernatural element that doesn't belong in a thriller and is a huge cheat. But the pacing was great for twist reveals, and the ending got me! Fun ride.

That ending… wow! I would have NEVER been able to predict that ending. I had to go back and re-read several pages several times to make sure what I read was actually what I read (if that makes sense).
I’ve personally never read anything like this, so I really enjoyed it.
Crazy turn of events, interesting plot, different POVs. Definitely recommend.

Gosh this was certainly not what I expected. Given, my mom gave this book to try out. Her taste is regularly quite bland and when I read any of her books they are predictable from the get go. But here I was, rushing through this intriguing story. It carries elements of romance, mystery, murder, all those good things. Whereas my brain is always wired to try to unravel the plot before the end, I gave up quickly during this one.
The plot changes so often, and so unexpectedly, that you let it engulf you. Which I adore when a novel is able to do that to me. I was surprised to say the least. And I absolutely do recommend this wonderful mystery novel.
