“I can't even look at him, because, I'm a flower and he's the whole entire sun and he'll wilt me away, I know he will.”
Honestly, I knew I was going to like Daisy Haites because of the first book.
Magnolia is that girl, but DAISY...
She's THEE GIRL!
I stand by what I said in my Magnolia Parks' review...
Every single one of these people need to stay the fuck away from each other. They’re all shit people, and being around each other just makes everything worse.
All, and I mean ALL, of Daisy and Christian's issues could've been solved if they would stop reacting so quickly to the most stupid things, and just communicate!!!! How infuriating.
It was easy for me to sympathize with Daisy when it came to the Christian and Magnolia situation. Daisy constantly made shit choices, but, if you've ever had a "friend" like Magnolia, you'd understand the frustration and jealousy that makes it's way to the surface. It's not an excuse, but, I get it. Imagine the love of your life, in love with someone that you considered a friend... How awful and honesty, traumatizing LOL!
"Here's the fucked up thing... Seeing him love her, made me like him more than I liked him before. Not because I'm a masochist, but, because my 'friend with benefit' became a human with a heart."
I do wish that Jessa Hastings made Magnolia and Daisy more different from each other. It's the same thing over and over. Probably because they date the same people. So annoying! If there wasn't a Daisy/Julian plot, this read would've been so bad. Just a repeat of the first book.
God. Magnolia is infuriating! Not sure what kind of spell I was under while reading the first book, but, she's NOT a girl's girl. Girls like Magnolia SCARE ME. Why is she stringing along multiple men? WHY is she stringing along men that AREN'T HER'S?!
Rome and Daisy? You love each other because you saved each other's life? Trauma bond... Be so forreal.. Let that man go.
Why make Julian out to be a piece of shit? What even is this plot? I was rooting for Julian. I wanted him to be a hero so bad. How annoying. Some of his chapters were oddly placed, though. Something crazy would happen with Daisy and Christian, then we would get a Julian chapter out of the blue... HUH?
Do these people actually love each other, or are they just trying to "one-up" each other? Because... This shit is toxic as hell. So dumb. There has to be more to the population, other than these people, wherever the fuck they live. Enough with dating within your friend group. Jesus! All of you are done.

These last couple chapters tore my heart in pieces. I have no thoughts just tears. I also have no clue how to rate these books. Just like in the first book I had a hard time getting in with so so many characters. The footnotes drove me absolutely nuts so I just stopped reading those at some point. But then these characters make me feel so much. I definitely am a way bigger fan of Daisy (and Christian) than Magnolia (and BJ) but I still have no clue how I feel about these books. Everyone is so damm toxic but it’s so addicting.

If I had known I would end up wanting to marry Julian and daisy simultaneously than I would have read this book so much sooner. Daisy literally owns my heart and I am absolutely in love with Julian. This book felt so comforting, I can't even explain the feeling this series hasn't given me so far. I can't lie... this book had me wishing I was part of a gang Lord's family just so I could have my own Lost Boys.
And call me unhinged but Julian killing people got me feeling a certain way
