Take this series away. It’s pure agony. In a good Evermore-coded way.

I was rooting for them!!! I can’t. Especially after flopping for Romeo and then back to Christian.

But hey I’m so down with a Tiller arc.

Daisy is my favourite magnolia universe character so far, I only want the best for her
and I fear that’s not going to happen.

DID NOT FINISH

dnf @ 60%
i will probably continue this some day but i just can’t rn. this was slightly better than magnolia parks but something abt these books makes me very angry and i don’t want to be angry rn

Este libro habia empezado bien y ya a la mitad los personajes era una copia de los protagonistas de la historia anterior!!! malísimo, Daisy es insoportable, claramente la autora no puede hacer una protagonista femenina con personalidad ni hacer otra trama distinta

I’m not sure if this book was slower than the first, or whether I just had less time to read recently that made this book drag out.

Cons: the footnotes in Daisy’s chapters are SO annoying and unnecessary. I get that footnotes shouldn’t stop you reading the primary content but I’m just one of those people that needs to read everything!

Pros: I like that this story overlaps with the first book and provides insight of the first story from the POV of Daisy and co. Overlapping characters to both stories also mean you get to read the POV of the other character of same conversations/events.

Overall: I would have given this boon 2.5 ⭐️, as, in my opinion, it was slower than the first book. But the covering of the same events from different POV gave this book an edge over the first so, 3 ⭐️ for both for different reasons.
medium-paced

I’m downing this so easily, I can’t put it down. The miscommunications are driving me insane but the chemistry and pining are incredible and are honestly something to aspire to

wait this is a 4.5 but alas no half rankings (curse this star system). history is repeating itself... again this book reinforces my need to be British - also why did I actually finish this entire book in 24 hours. hellooooo British socialite universe
