Now this is the stuff, more fun than a marmoset learning to make toast, this thrills, spills and moves at a hell of a place and actually makes characters from Jane Eyre interesting. This is all about women forging their identity and voice away from toxic and destructive men, and making for a splendid tale in the process. I'll definitely be reading more by Gwendolyn Kiste in the future.
