In comparison to the other parts of the Wayfarers series, this follows multiple characters and stories and how they intermingle and connect. They all seem to be in their own small universes, and yet little do they know how they would all meet in the future.
I loved how these snapshots were glimpses into the world, of how people lived and went about their daily lives. Rather than being a big adventure similar to the first book, or a soul searching story of the second, this just captures the everyday, and how events can set in motion greater things.
Overall, absolutely loved this once again and I'm already excited for book 4! 5*

Becky Chambers is phenomenal at writing platonic and familial love, which this installment of the Wayfarers series is chock full of. All of the characters are written so compassionately and each separate story is compelling. While the Wayfarer series is predominantly about people coexisting with others unlike themselves, this book in particular really examines humanity from an outside perspective and questions why we do things the way we do. Like all of Becky Chambers' books, this one had me perpetually misty-eyed. I'm both excited to read the next book and saddened that I'm nearing the end of the series.
