I loved this book to break up my predictable rom-com reads, I also looooved the childhood friend trope of Rocky and Phoebe. I'm excited to read the second book, and see what unfolds between the two families, especially with how far the deceit goes. I typically only read romance, but this has a good balance of romance with an introduction to thriller.

I think this is the most addicting book I’ve ever read. I could not put it down and when I had to stop reading I just kept thinking about it. There is so many twists and turns, secrets that are uncovered, drama and angst. This follows 2 family of con artists but they only con the evil people of the world. I had no expectations going into this book but I was definitely surprised by how much I loved it. I loved how all of the characters had an inside language with each other and their willing to protect each other no questions asked. That cliffhanger makes me want book 2 immediately. Thank you NetGalley and Valentine Pr for the arc.

SOOOOO GOOD!!!! I am so in love with these characters and their individual backstories/plot lines. There are so many other things, arguably more important to the story, than the romance. But the romance girlllll is where the story shines. I was so captivated by this book it truly had me in a chokehold. I will be reading the rest of the series!!
