A brilliant end to a fantastic series. Sophie Lark shows her exceptional story telling skills as she weaves all of the narratives of the prior Kingmakers book into this explosive conclusion.

I’m sad that this series is over! Despite me not liking a few of the books I have gotten attached to these characters and don’t want to say goodbye.
I wanted to rate this four stars purely because I loved the epilogue and it made me cry but I decided to take off a star.
I guessed who the Spy was and I was right and I did like this character but I didn’t connect to our heroine Nix. I also didn’t like the romance between them because it happened so quickly and out of no where which was probably because there was so much plot to fit in this book. The plot was interesting but at the same time I didn’t really care. Maybe I would have cared more if I read the other series first?
I really liked seeing more of the children from the Brutal Birthright series couples and I loved seeing them be a family. If the epilogue was stretched to be the whole book and included the Brutal Birthright couples as well I would have been very happy.
I’m really glad that I read this series and I definitely want to read more from this author!
