While we might sometimes wish we could have a do-over for the day, Clark can attest that repeating the same day over and over again gets old quick. He's been counting the September 19ths, and 300+ times has been more than enough for him. He's looking to escape the loop when he meets someone that makes him forget if just for a moment when he is stuck.

Highly recommend for fans of light science fiction with a romance twist.

I adored this concept. The writing was fun and the characters are loveable. But I wanted more of the romance as a whole. I did cry at the end, well worth the pay off.

I have to start this review by admitting that I really didn't want to read this book. It was a reader's advisory challenge for me. It happened to be on the shelf I found myself on and different from what I usually pick for myself. Having read the book, I can now appreciate that I found myself in the perfect circumstances to try something new, just like Clark, and that I majorly benefited from doing so. This book was a gem. It somehow made my jades heart squeeze. I loved many of the side characters. I empathized with plenty of Clark's struggles. It isn't a perfect book, but it was a perfectly delightful and engaging one.

If I See You Again Tomorrow is a time loop story set in Chicago. When the book starts, Clark is in the middle of the time loop, rather than just starting of the loop.

There is a love story that happens in the beginning of the book, but the rest of the book is NOT romance focused.

The focus is on Clark completing the following tasks in order to combat his loneliness:
1. Try to make a new friend.
2. Help someone who could use it.
3. Be vulnerable so others can be too.
4. Do the thing that scares you.

This was an easy and enjoyable read with compelling side characters.

If you are looking for another YA time loop book, I recommend See You Yesterday by Rachel Lynn Solomon.

TW: Child death and parent death mentioned but not shown, grief experienced by a side character, infidelity briefly mentioned, brief reference to police brutality and racism, a reference to drinking and being hungover but not shown, dangerous driving
