I really enjoyed this one. The plot kept moving forward & I was interested enough in the characters to want to see how it all played out. My only beef: Everyone in this book seems to roll their eyes like school children. But other than that, definitely worth the time.
Loved this book. It took me like two/three chapters to be fully invested but once I did I loved it. Short chapters which I appreciate sometimes. Only criticism is the fact there was no headings splitting the narrative from alison and the killer as sometimes too me few moments to realise it was the killer. Something to divide it woulda been good

This book was pretty descriptive for a thriller but i liked it! However it was pretty slow-paced and all the inner dialogue and descriptions kinda made it hard to read.
The way the book ended and the ending itself was pretty intriguing!! But overall this book didn’t interest me as much as i thought it would, maybe im not the target audience for this book and the way it’s written

So far of all the Howard books I've read this is the weakest (but also one of the oldest so that makes sense). This felt like a very middle of the road mystery. The "thrilling" elements were very thrilling and I felt a lack of tension the whole way through.
