It was fine, doesn't feel like it will be very memorable.
This was a very average thriller. My biggest problem with it is that there was no vacancy in room ten. All the rooms were filled and every room notes had 3 numbers like 103 or 201. Not just 10. Seems an odd title with no relevance to the story whatsoever haha.

This was a good thriller that was way too slow at parts but interesting enough to want to find out what was going to happen. I enjoyed the character Cass. She is the epitome of a classic no fucks given thriller heroine.
Cass has found herself in a rough place. She was dumped by her asshole boyfriend and went from riches to rags. She's a caretaker at The Sycamores, a wrong side of town motel turned apartment complex. There's quite a cast of characters at this place.😄
When Anna's husband, who rented space at The Sycamores, turns up dead, she moves in to comb through his life and find out what happened to him. As Anna meets Cass and the other tenants, she starts to suspect Henry's death is not what it seems, but something entirely more sinister.
This is definitely not in my top favorite thrillers of the year, but it was entirely readable and entertaining enough.
