SHUT UP this was so good!! I laughed out loud a lot (Daddy Manroot, iykyk), I cried happy tears, and got literal Goosebumps at the end. I love them your honor

This book was ironically a little too much multiple times - and I enjoyed every second of it!

• brothers best friend
• fake dating
• age gap

Ex pro athlete tangling with the local children’s clown apparently does it for me.

I also loved the It reference. Do you want a balloon too, Georgie?

Easy read, lighthearted and ticked the box for what I was looking for - no thought required!

We've got a brothers best friend love interest, the cute girl next door who is a literal clown, and a fake dating scheme to help both of them get the image they want to achieve their dreams. It was cheesy, it was cute, and it was a good time.

Apparently I enjoy the older brother best friend trope that takes place YEARS after the initial crush paired with a fake dating plot and I am happy. Tessa Bailey did deliver on making it a spicy book and I had no issues as far as I can remember. (I read this a couple months ago).

It gave what I was looking for!
