What a great storyteller and just a wonderful letter to the earth. I highly recommend listening to the audio for this. The author narrates and his voice also adds to the storytelling experience.

I liked the part where Momaday was talking about the future of the earth and we have a responsibility to that.

Very beautiful and thought-provoking (also intruigingly non-straightforward in terms of the diegetic elements/narrator). Generally, I also enjoy this idea of the "earth keeper" as someone who knows an environment/the nature in an environment very well and keeps its memory/the ways to care for it alive.
