Wow. I feel so bad for Tessa. I am so proud she found her voice, however, I am so angry at everyone around her. I am so annoyed at the fact that everyone hides secrets from her. Especially because those secrets are ABOUT Tessa. It’s infuriating. I’m glad Theon got put in his place, but I’m also saddened that Tessa is in such a deep state of apathy that destruction is imminent. This is a wild series, I’ve never read something like it. It’s dark and twisted, and I truly have no idea what’s going to happen. I’m a little infuriated myself because there are secrets being kept from readers (which makes sense but it’s still annoying), and this book felt like we were being dragged through the lies and deceit just like Tessa is used to. I hate that she’s in Achaz Kingdom right now, I do NOT trust them one bit. We’ll see how this plays out though. I’m team Luka all the way, but I’m mainly team Tessa.

Tessa just pissed me off this whole book.
Many things can be said about this one but the highlight is “How are you feeling, Tessa?”, “Are you ok, Tessa?” times 200.
Plot was good, story was inviting, real page turner at least.

I was disappointed by this and the 1st book because it has potential. But it is so repetitive with the exact same situations/conversations between all the same characters. The mfc continuously does the same things / says the same things, and then act surprised when everyone else responds the same way again and again. I wonder how many times "...discuss this later", ""You didn't think this was important to tell me this / share this with me". Other annoying things include - "Strong" fmc who literally always needs rescued. - No character growth. - Mfc gets upset when other people figure out obvious things about herself that she should be able to figure out and don't tell her. - Weird nicknames everyone gives to the women throughout the books that no one cares or comments on.
There are other things that are annoying throughout the series but i will stop ranting now.
