The first book had me reaching for the second. But I can't say the same about this book - it felt like the book could have been shorter. Admittedly my mind compares it to iron flame - when most of the characters problems could have been solved if they just communicated properly instead of arguing or giving eachother the silent treatment. It's an interesting world but at this time I won't be purchasing book 3.

When have I ever given a follow up book 5⭐️! This was not just a continuation of the story but the story is still developing and more things are being unveiled.
Tessa is getting less annoying because we are getting more understanding for her and her power is growing to exponential levels.
Theon is dealing with a power struggle and familial bs from his dad, while trying to keep Tessa from hating him lol
Luka came out of nowhere but I mean with a character named Luka we’re bound to fall for him duh!
But we got 4POVs in this one aaahhhhh. I’m trying to pace myself and hold off for book 3 because book 4 still has a few months😩

I was into this world enough to read two books but I think I’m done now. When I start getting distracted by over use of certain phrases and the plot and world get messy, I’m out. The two MC’s just keep having the same issues over and over again.
