I wasn't as connected to our characters as I was in the first book, but I still really love this story. There is fantastic mental health and PTSD representation, and the world really opened up in this book. Also there's a hint of poly rep!

Absolutely love the progression this book has made with the series, adding in previous characters from the lady of darkness series, I screamed. As well as Tessa finally standing up for herself more and wanting to fight, as well as Luka and Theon cannot wait to read more of these three in the last 2 books of this series and what it brings!! It is a must read especially if you have read the lady of darkness series
