Absolutely love the progression this book has made with the series, adding in previous characters from the lady of darkness series, I screamed. As well as Tessa finally standing up for herself more and wanting to fight, as well as Luka and Theon cannot wait to read more of these three in the last 2 books of this series and what it brings!! It is a must read especially if you have read the lady of darkness series

I may have been more captivated in the first book but this one was still soo good. I’ve been waiting for Tessa to show everyone just how much of a badass she is. Can’t wait to watch this woman shine in the next book!

that ending was sooooo satisfying for tessa! i also loved the characters from the lady of darkness series that we got to revisit :) everyone still seems to be lying to one another (whether by omission or outright lies) and i’m so interested to see where things go in book three!! i still love tessa and i also love luka (hesitantly) but i am distrustful of many of the characters and they are going to really have to work to earn tessa’s (and my) trust, if it is even possible…onto book three
