A magnificent reminder that there is hope, and it is found in working together.
Useful, hopeful, well-organized. Wonderfully readable.
Brain is so full of thoughts; thank god I took notes. Can’t wait to discuss at book club.

I really like the idea that organizing is about building coalitions and requiring perfect alignment, purity tests, or disallowing disagreement or making conflicting opinions a nonstarter doesn't get us anywhere. I'm honestly really tired of leftist circles casting out people for not being left enough. Like, what are we actually doing? If we're organizing for Palestine we need to organize everyone even if they're old, white, Trump voters you know? A lot of old white Trump voters don't actually support ISR's genocide of indigenous Palestinians, so let's fucking organize with them. A lot of white leftists want to police how anyone - including even Palestinians themselves - can speak about Palestine or the resistance or Hamas or ISR. Like, what if we all just stopped policing these spaces and started building bridges?
