I really enjoy her writing. It’s like listening to a cool old aunt talking about life.

Oh, Nora. God bless your soul!
I laughed out loud at so many points, and really enjoyed her insight.

3.5 stars. These essays feel like a continuation from the previous book. I connected with all but 2 and find Ephron’s humor pretty delightful in general. These essays are perhaps a bit more down to earth in their continuation on the theme of aging and in a few heavy hitters about family members. On the other hand, some essays are so detailed as to refute the title entirely. I wish she’d written more for me to read or listen to.

Normally I’m not an essays or collected stories kind of reader, but this was interesting and cute! Very short read if you are looking to laugh
