About half-way through I started skipping chapters, and this isn't a long book. It was like listening to my mom tell me stories about her life, except without the emotional relevance and also my mother would never name-drop so much. I really enjoyed Ephron's style of writing, which felt very familiar, but overall the content didn't interest me and reading it came off as a due to be paid to a talented person rather than an enjoyable pastime.
