Usually I'm not a fan of plays or anything the like. However, I actually enjoyed reading this since it was easy to follow along.
When choosing to do what you believe is right, there will be conflicts - especially when what is "right" clashes with what other people think. While Antigone holds family values and rules set by the gods above everything else, Creon is loyal to the law and expects everyone to obey it just like he does.
Although I can empathize with both of the main characters' motives, I felt the author sympathizes with Antigone a bit more. I found myself in the same conflict the characters are in, which can't be solved if both parties stay true to their ideals.
I liked this play for making me think about the subjectivity of what is important to us, how we can implement ideals, and when it's time to compromise.
As always, criticizing the over-use of suicide in plays, while lacking a deeper descriptions of emotional despair at the same time.

Certainly a tragic, yet insightful and beautiful end to the Theban trilogy. Unsurprisingly.
