Oof. Just… rough.

Writing was somehow worse than the other books in this series? But enemies to lovers was a great time.

But the plot was just somehow too slow for most of the book and then just way too much at the end.

Like I finished the book and was like “where is the ending”???
I guess it’s in the next book in the series, idk the previous books all wrapped up better.

I really loved the previous novels in this series but this one felt a bit stale. The main characters in this were hard to like and I felt there was almost no chemistry between them.  I think it was too heavy on the spice and light on the story compared to the others in the series. Eris/Aphrodite was fairly unlikeable and Theseus/Hepastesus was a villain in the last book. We barely see enough of Pandora and Adonis as fully deve oped characters. Hopefully in the next one I'll be able to connect with the characters better.
