This story really moved the destabilization plot forward. I am really appreciating how Katee is weaving the love stories through the central plot. A spicy action adventure, if you will, which makes this really fun to read.
However, if you expect a four way based on the image at the front of the paperback, you will be disappointed like I am. There is not a four way in this book.

Katee Robert never disappoints. This wasn't my favorite of the series but I felt like it was also doing a lot of world building for what is to come in olympus.
I loved that Eris and Theseus realized that they can love different people in different capacities and that it is okay!
Katee just writes in the easiest to read way and I just fly through her books. I'm not really into the poly/rh/wc tropes but this was written so well!
I will say I was expecting at least one group bedroom scene and was surprised that they didn't all get together.

I really didn't think that I would like Hephaestus. He was rude and sexist in the previous books. But wow! The layers!! He really is an onion. He loves hard, is loyal (to a fault), and protects the people he loves. He was a perfect match for Aphrodite and Adonis and a brother and protector for Pandora.
Aphrodite's character development was also amazing to see. She went from constantly putting the city first, as she was raised to do, to choosing her happiness. The love she shared with Adonis and Pandora was so sweet and with Hephaestus?? That was just heat and passion

Slower burn than the rest of the series and I feel like there was no resolution at the end. However, there are still two books left than I am eager to read.

not my fave of the bunch but good steamy bits with a 4 person pov! ending was like yayy!! happy ending for them!!! but also like hmmmmmm... plot was lost kinda.... i know its a series but up until now, they've been kinda standalone-ish and this was sorta like a big question mark as the plot got more interesting.
good thing i have the next book already i guess!
