I'm glad this exists but I'm just not that interested/the intended audience.

Age difference between mc and partner made me uncomfortable. If they met when the partner was a full grown adult then it would be fine. But they met when the mc was 30 and there is a "15 year age difference".
Moderate: Adult/minor relationship

This manga memoir is pretty great. The pacing is a little stilted and disjointed so I found it hard to find a reading rhythm but the information and humor is highly appreciated in the discussion of nonbinary, trans and intersex topics. It's a very honest account of how life is different for us and how talking with each other is the best way to learn more at this point.
I read this for the Trans Rights Readthon but didn't finish it until now.

Excellent Japanese to English translation. Explains disparities between the cultures of Japan and the English-speaking world. The "Western" or 洋風 style of binary gender presentation of course differs greatly from that seen in a country with fundamentally different attitudes towards familial piety, sex, and societal harmony. *shakes fist at evangelical Christianity*
