Bad Alpha

4.04 AVERAGE

I love that female alphas exist! This book is my favorite in this universe/series so far. I managed to remember the guys names and I especially enjoyed the ending and how the pack decided to move forward. Although it’s a standalone I would very much enjoy a Bad Alpha part II!

The book deserves 4.5 stars but I’m boosting it since it did not kill the spirit of the fmc with domestication <3

5 Bright and Beautiful Stars!

Nobody does OV like Moon. I think Eve is the most amazing female I've ever read. Fierce, aggressive, sexy, and just living the best she can. She's so dominating and doesn't falter in her status, but yet allows her men to compromise FOR her, because of her, and with her. She is not one to beg or submit, and she doesn't. She handles herself and her situation with confidence and true inner/outer strength. The story was beautiful and so well done. I'd read a thousand books about a true alpha female like Eve. Well done Ms. Moon.

Favourite Quote: "As far as being taken advantage of by Alphas went, forced moral conversations was working its way up my list of least favourite methods"

Although not my favourite book in the Sweetverse (that honour still belongs to Baby & the Late Night Howlers), I enjoyed this book. I loved Eve as an FMC, she was badass, able to look after herself, and a touch of morally grey. I enjoyed watching as she lined up her plans and set the pack in motion. I did also giggle at the Adam and Eve jokes. The fact that this wasn't crazily omega focused was nice, it meant the relationships throughout the pack developed and allowed Eve to have her own growth. Unfortunately, I felt sections of it were a bit repetitive, there was a lot of the same conversations and reactions for part of it that kind of meant all the action was shoved into a couple of chapters at the end. So overall an easy read but could have done with some cut down.

Entertaining, but after the novelty of the relationship dynamic it lacks more depth to the story and worldbuilding.
