Sydney and Preston’s first meeting had some sparks, but then once they kissed, the fireworks began!!
She may have had a crush on him, but he didn’t want a relationship. He was still in his playboy ways. Jump forward one year when they run into each other in a restaurant. Syd found out some devasting news that her mom gave to her, she up and left. Preston followed her instead of staying at the dinner table he was it with his party. To when she asked him for bad-girl-spice lessons, her enthusiasm was so sweet unlike Preston who was a little worried about her brother finding out. I understand why Preston didn’t want a relationship, but he really excelled at all the boyfriend stuff.
I loved reading this series from the very beginning, Preston wasn't nothing what I expected.
I really loved the drama and tension from the secret relationship, but also the forbidden aspect from her controlling parents. At the breaking point when Collin found out, wow! that got me nervous. But by the end, I was happy with how the book ended!

The tropes were perfect for this book and I loved that Preston really realized how important Sydney was to him and that he even understood Colin's reasons to be against it but that Sydney was able to prove eventually that he was good enough all along. This had more substance than I thought it would in comparison to the other books of this series so I really enjoyed this as the wrap up

I loved the rest of the series but the virgin trope gives me the ick so bad I cannot.

Boooooo this was so bad
Tropes: best friend's sister/brother's best friend, sex lessons, virgin, praise kink
CW: emotionally abusive parents,
This is about Preston and Sydney. Sydney shows up to a party all grown up and Preston can't help but notice, but she is Colin's (best friend and business partner) sister. Sydney has always had a crush on Preston but he can't go there. But their chemistry is hard to ignore, and they end up making an arrangement where she can learn to be sexually experienced with sex lessons and work it out of their systems. Until Preston decides he needs her for keeps.
I only read part of The Doctor (which wasn't for me) which is the first book in this series, and Preston is awful. But it was nice to see how far he his character has come in this book. And I liked his connection with Sydney. And although it was very steamy, the emotional connection was there. Definitely interested in more from this series.
