I never read middle grade but I was so drawn to this lil witchy book about being appreciative for what you got and never underestimating yourself. Such a lovely and weird story. Will definitely carry on with the series!

Cute and Heartfelt.
Lots of little tidbits of morals and positive messages. In my opinion, it really is perfect for the 8-12 year old age range.
Valente made this fantastical world unique with her take on magical creatures and witches/wizard powers. I absolutely loved Oswin the kobold.
This is a series, but it felt like it ended on a good enough note that "there's more to the story" but not a complete cliffhanger. Which I like because I want to read the next ones but I'd rather pace them out.

Thank you so much to Jonathan Ball Publishers for this review copy.
A young witch is gifted with the ability to find lost things which she deems worthless until the most powerful witch in the land comes from her help. Last Tuesday has gone missing and she is the only one with the ability to find it.
Great for children as it teaches them to appreciate each day and the gifts they have been given.
Filled with love and humor, this book is so worth reading. Can't wait for the next.
