reunion, was a better book in comparison to the first two in the mediator series.I'm totally impressed with suzzanah,I mean that care free attitude of hers strikes a nerve of mine. This book was probably better because of gina's character even though i knew she wouldn't last for long( that's my guess !she is appealing than suze to me).Michael Meducci totally got what he deserved,I wasn't even a tad bit sorry for that loser.Yeah,Jake ( sleepy guy) was pretty impressive for once as the author gave him a word or two to speak .Overall, book was amazing according to me.
waiting to start the next book soon!

I've realized I'm much less annoyed by Suze being boy crazy and look-conscious because she is a much more realistic portrait of a teenager than all the "paranormal romance" and dystopian love triangles and angst and suicidal-thoughts-are-apparently-romantic stuff that is more common today.

I'd also forgotten how Buffy-esque this is, early days, except ghosts instead of vampires.

Gründe für das Buch:
- sehr schnell und angenehm zu lesen
- tolles neues Abenteuer
- guter Humor
Gründe gegen das Buch:
- Titel ist mehr verwirrend als passend
- so schnelle zu ende

This one has been the most fun of the series so far. I liked the addition of the tough Gina from NY and I hope she makes another appearance later on. This book had the signature you think you know what happened and then when the ending is revealed its the opposite. How is it that an author can make a ghost seem attractive?

4.5/5

“I am the worst mediator,” I went on. Once I had the ball rolling, I found it was hard to stop it. “The worst one that ever lived. I should be thrown out of the mediator organization. Seriously. I can’t believe I actually did something that stupid. And I wouldn’t blame you if you never spoke to me again. Only—” I looked up at him, aware that there were tears in my eyes. Only this time, I wasn’t ashamed to let him see them. “It’s just that you’ve got to understand: He tried to kill my family. And I couldn’t let him get away with that. Can you understand that?”

This a huge improvement compared to the Ninth Key.

I think my only complain about this book was that I didn't like the first chapters since they were only to remind me what happened in the previously books. Although this didn't stop for the book to be fast-paced, I felt a little unnecessary to recap almost every single detail that happened before.

But of course, there were good things. We finally met Gina - who at first I was a little worried since at first she would only talk about boys - and her friendship with Suze, which is believable and you enjoy it. I personally liked that she figured out that Suze was a mediator by herself and she still helped her. I was also worried that it would have a competition between CeeCee and Gina as they are both Suze's "best friends", but I was happy that their interaction were healthy and that they consider each other friends too - I think. I have to say I missed CeeCee and Adam a little bit, but considering the storyline of this book, I understand the lack of their appearances.

I also really liked the development of some things/characters. Suze finally accepts that she may need help and she can't deal with everything by herself even though she went to see Michael by herself, even though she figured he killed the RSL Angels, we get a glimpse of Father D.'s backstory, we get more interactions and another side of Suze's older stepbrothers and how Suze is - slowly - considering them as part of her family - as seen from the quote above.

Also, all the feels about Jesse and Suze. Even though I don't like how Suze too often complains how her love life sucks, I can't help but smile at the scenes she shares with Jesse - which only makes me excited for how their relationship will go on. It's a good slow burn relationship, but I want something to happen like they kiss because seriously, it's the third book and no kiss??? congrats Cabot between them.

It's a cheesy series, I will admit. But a good cheesy.

As always, Meg Cabot incorporates the right amount of humor!

This is still very fun to read and I love Suze and Jesse's slow burn relationship! I can't wait to reread book four and see how their relationship progress.

2018 reread: This one had me cringing a bit, but I gotta love Suze. I wish Gina stuck around! This one got a bit darker, and I’m looking forward to getting to the second half of the series!
