I enjoyed many of the Stephanie Plum series when I was a teenager and young adult. However, now that I'm older and have read a few of the more recent additions, I'd have to say I'm a little disappointed. There hasn't been much character development or movement forward. It's the same general routine for the main character. After twenty some books, you would think there would be a change.

I saw the movie and loved it, though some of the people picked for the cast didn't line up. Especially Ranger.

The series would be better as a tv show.

Fun light reading, fun to listen to.

When I first picked up this book I thought I would really enjoy the book. It moved fast. BUT I think the concept was kind of silly. And then, all of a sudden it ended. Yea......not so much.

This is the first Plum book I've read with Diesel. I like him. Almost as much as I like Morelli and Ranger. She has too many good men.
fast-paced

A fun novella starring everyone's favorite bounty hunter, Stephanie Plum. Grandma Mazur is still my favorite character in this series, she is hilarious and I hope I am like her when I am that old.

It wasn't as bad as I had expected. It wasn't as good as other Plum novels, but I had a good time reading it. The thing that made me not like the book as much is the "supernatural" part. The superpowers were totally unnecessary and didn't make any sense in my opinion. The lack of Morelli was also utterly disappointing. He is my favorite character in this series and the fact that we saw him for like two seconds upset me. Otherwise, the story was cute, but lacked fun, which is usually what makes me like these books. I normally laugh a lot when I read these, but I just needed to get this one finished. I don't think I'll be reading the other holiday novels.

This was a very light and silly book. I enjoyed it very much. I also felt this was a very creative way to introduce a new character. Not that this author has ever had issues introducing new characters. I'm just saying. I really enjoyed this book.

I do feel that there were a lot of things that were kind of rushed over and not really explained all that well. But this book did seem to be a bit shorter than most. I won't really complain too much. The story seemed like a bonus story more than an actual one. It also seemed like it was an introduction more than anything.

Kind of a weird book.

glorious! i'm pretty sure what happened back when i was reading this like circa 2011 was i got thru like the first half or so then a couple years later read the final chapter without reading the middle. so IDK how many times to count that, but the book was cute, i learned what one of the supernatural characteristics were so now i can talk about this with my aunt who's read this series since like the 1990s. i need to learn what one of the characters names are because i suspect they got a spin off.

it made me festive, gave me some flashbacks to circa 2002/2003 how christmases worked. all i know is i want my interior design to look like christmas & wintry photos on social media & this book fit that aesthetic.

also back from 2011 until like now, i got to recast diesel, partly because well, i have a larger casting pool now.
