I really don't like to give one star reviews... but I did not enjoy this at all. Generally I can see how a book might appeal to someone else, but in this case I actively do not recommend that you read this book. The only reason I finished it was because it was short. And sometimes the main character made me smile.
There was a supernatural element that was not explained at all and this left me frustrated and disappointed. In addition it felt extremely stereotypical and distasteful, I'm sure there's a way that this concept could be done that's not distasteful, but this wasn't it.
Honestly I haven't heard a lot of good or bad about Janet Evanovitch's writing, but it will take a lot to convince me to pick up something else from her after this read. I am definitely open to being convinced however!

I needed this today. Stephanie just makes me happy
This book totally shouldn't have worked... but it did :) Very fun.
This was one of the few Janet Evanovich books at the library to read..so a Christmas book it is..
This is a 2 1/2 stars kind of book. It was alright, it gave me a little bit of a Stephanie Plum fix, but it makes me wish that I could have taken one of the read books out of the library. This book is only 164 pages long..so it's not a real novel to me. There was a lot of talk of Christmas cookies which made me really hungry and I might even go make some cookies for myself..maybe not..it is hot outside..

I absolutely love this series!! However, this installment is not my favorite. I prefer the non-holiday books.
I was encouraged to read about Stephanie Plum and her crazy shenanigans by a coworker because I’d never read any books by Janet Evanovich. I decided to try this one out because it’s Christmas related and it’s short. I liked how uncoordinated Stephanie was and I loved the “Sandy Claws” toy maker bit. I didn’t laugh out loud at a lot of parts but there were moments where a giggle tumbled out. In all, it was enjoyable; it’s just not my normal cup of tea. Plus, this series is overwhelming if I wanted to try to start it. Either way, it was a cute read.
A nice Christmas short story about Stephanie and her bad luck with Christmas preparations while in search of a FTA called Sandy Claws. Since the whole thing is getting hard to handle with elves and supernatural events, Stephanie gets help from Diesel who has special powers himself. And who knows, Stephanie might even get a chance at a nice Christmas after all!
I swear I have read this before but it didn't show up on my Goodreads. Cute and typical Stephanie Plum.
Not quite as good as the others but still a quick, interesting read.
