killing ur wife for a kleenex is a bit much but ok

Classic Shakespearean tragedy that contrasts the portrayals of women with their husbands and I loved the context and how Shakespeare subtly subverts the patriarchal conventions at the time. Interesting evaluation of the themes of jealousy, deception and betrayal. I especially love the dynamic between Desdemona and Emilia and the way it mirrors the perceived, manufactured relationship between Othello and Iago.
medium-paced

read this for school, it was okay no strong feelings...

I enjoyed the intelligence in this book. I definitely liked it a lot more than Macbeth that we read last year for English. I will admit I wouldn't have ever picked this up on my own but it was interesting enough none the less.
