This was interesting… I expected to love the magical realism bit a lot more but wasn’t really into it. It was giving Edward from twilight lowkey.

This is officially my favorite Tia Williams book! I loved everything about the characters, the plot, and the ending.

a beautiful story told from multiple perspectives that spans across years. a love song for ricki wilde feels like the story of how your grandparents met. that deep, soul wrenching love just spills from each page. not just from ricki and ezra but from ricki and ms.della, ricki and tuesday. this story showcases love in so many different forms. one of the most beautiful stories i’ve read in a while.

Magical realism with romance. A fun story about an unexpected romance and a curse. I laughed out loud at some of the dialogue.

I had no idea there was a paranormal/fantasy element which, by the way, did not reveal itself until page 212. Sigh! Other than that it was just ok - I liked the characters and a majority of the story but the fantasy element just didn’t work for me personally. I did, however get choked up during one of Miss Della’s final scenes.
