This book was so hard to put down!! I loved it from start to finish. I just felt hooked. I was absolutely infuriated with our FMC the whole time, but I still found her to be loveable. I need to know what happens next! I am left in utter suspense.

Dire Bound is a captivating read that grabbed my attention from the start. The story had a little "Fourth Wing" vibe, with the recruits facing trials to bond with powerful direwolves. While some parts were a bit predictable, the book is filled with intriguing secrets that kept me hooked, always wondering what would be revealed next. Overall, I couldn't put it down and I'm already eagerly awaiting the second book! Highly recommend for fans of romantasy!

This is easily one of the best books I've read this year.
It had me hooked literally at page 1 and I could not put it down. I love all the characters, love to hate the villains, truly surprised by the twists and turns, and this book is action packed and heart wrenching. I cried multiple times and also was on the edge of my seat for most of it.

Fourth Wing but with Direwolves. FMC is supposed to be a quick study/ strategic thinker but she spends the entire book being super bratty and contrary. I liked the concept of the book but it felt very slow. I liked where the author was going with the characters but didn’t realllly get attached to them. The FMC’s backstory and development arc was interesting but it was a constant 1 step forward, 3 steps back situation that became repetitive and annoying.
An hour into the audiobook and I just can't stand the narration, it's making the prose even worse than it already is
