Great read. It was a bit predictable which downgraded it from a 5 to a 4.5. Great character development. Interesting story arc. Can't wait to read the next. Meryl is a bad ass FMC. Stark has just the right amount of broody energy to make him a favorite.

Meryn is one of the most frustrating and infuriating FMC’s I’ve read in a LONG time. Second only to Diem from Spark of The Narc. I’ll be reading book 2, but I’m not happy about it lol. At this point, I feel like I’ll be hate reading the remainder of this series unless Meryn can start thinking for herself. I’m sick of her having zero gut survival instincts when she’s supposed to be an ALPHA. Everyone has to spell out everything for her. Grow up, girl. ALSO, my guy Stark deserves better, especially for putting up with her childish ass for so long. A concrete wall has better instincts than her. Anyone but her could’ve seen from a mile away that Killian was a fucking snake. Jesus. I need to step away from my Kindle and take a deep breath after that.

It dragged in places, it was a bit clunky in the beginning, and it was a bit longer than it needed to be. It was predictable but I had a really good time. It was really easy to read and pulled me in, and I cant wait to see where it is going.
