If you are a fan of Fourth Wing, you will likely enjoy this book!

I really enjoyed the plot and twists in this book, but I found the FMC a bit difficult to root for/relate to in various moments. I also found myself wanting more relationship development between all of the characters, and while this makes sense for some characters at the end, I sat with those feelings too long that the end couldn’t make up for it. Overall, I enjoyed it and am very much looking forward to book 2!

Overall the book was alright. I am interested in continuing the series. I do believe the sex scenes were excessive especially considering Killian is the villain. I'm hoping book 2 is way better and fills in some plot holes. I do feel the last hour of the book was rushed and couldve been written better. I also don't get the blurb summary including Fourt Wing because that book was golden! This book is alright.
