Such an amazing book that will make you feel and care for the characters. Though I have to say it wasn't as emotional as it could have been.

I don't know how I missed reading this as a kid, but am glad to have read it now. So many good things here. I'm sure this hits different when reading through adult eyes but I can see how this has been such an excellent children's book for over 40 years.

I picked this title for a reading challenge prompt to “revisit a childhood favorite”. Obviously, I did not remember how SAD this book is, but I am glad that I picked it as it is a good story (with some outdated language). Bridge To Terabithia continues to be a childhood classic that will scar young readers for years to come.
I read this with my 5th grade son. I had read it a long time ago but did not remember much about it. I thought it gave an accurate, beautiful portrayal of grief and childhood friendship.
