As per the previous books, I enjoyed the characters, setting, world building and action. My only complaint for the book is that I felt as hough it was a bit slow at the start and the planet partially exploding mid book was a bit sudden. Overall, still enjoyed it thoroughly and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I loved it. This might be the best book of the series, which is crazy since it's not one of the original trilogy, and is the 4th book in the series!
I really enjoy these books, though I will again say that I could see them being very tedious if read on paper. I listen in audiobook, so it works better that way I think. I don’t really have any new thoughts for this review other than one thing. I think it’s interesting that this book sort of accidentally makes a common argument for believing in a god - the moral argument. The argument is basically that there can be no objective moral standard to hold someone accountable to, if there is no god. I find it interesting when played out in a large scale scifi drama.

As always, the Expanse books knock it out of the park.
This series is simply fun. It's impressive how every book keeps the momentum and stakes high, without losing the characterisation of the main cast. I thoroughly like every POV character, and each feels real and distinct in their voice.
Basically, if you liked the earlier books in the series, you'll not be disappointed!
