Another amazing story, Cora and Tor, so much feeling in this book. Really felt for Cora, she has no way to prove she is telling the truth. Some really funny and truly emotional scenes.
KA gives each person in her books their own distinctive features, Tor speaks very politely, very clever.
Although I love this book at the start he is pretty cruel to her, it's understandable why but she has no way to prove she is being truthful, I really felt for her.
The character of Tor and Cora are married but of course it's not Cora of this world he is with now but he and Cora of his world did not get along at all, due to her actions so he had sex with other women.
Our Cora becomes aware of this and although she is technically not his wife, it is hurtful as things are brought up at times.
There is a very painful scene which is extremely hurtful to Cora.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
I think this is the only book where the Hero gets to see 'our world' which is imteresting.
HEA.
Although the enemy plotline continues through the series.

I enjoyed this installment and Tillie Hooper did an excellent job with the narration.

Utter escapism. I dissolved into the pages and enjoyed the ride. There were some similarities to others in this series, but then the ties between these books begin to become clear, so this is crucial element. I find the movement between the two worlds very tense and my heart sinks in these moments. As usual, great characters, believable, with depth that draw you in and gets you a little hooked. This is becoming a favourite series.

Fantastical begins when Cora wakes up in a fantasy world. She thinks she's dreaming, and she ends up accidentally bringing a curse upon two newly weds. Things get worse when she realizes they think she is someone else, and that someone else also has a husband... Cora has to figure out how to fix the curse, and live this new life she has...
Fantastical is not my favorite of this series but it is still good. At times I felt somewhat bored with it though but it did make me laugh a lot! And the epilogue is amazing it makes me so excited for the next book I can not wait! Cora is funny and completely honest to Tor about where she is from even though he doesn't believe her. And Tor comes to care about her even though he doesn't believe her story and isn't quite sure he can trust her. You add the romance between them and the beautiful world they live in and this book is good.

This is the story of Cora, a woman who wakes up in a fantasy world in her "twin"'s place, where she can understand what birds are saying and before she can grasp the fact that she's not dreaming, she has unwillingly started a curse that affects the whole land.
Noctorno, Tor for short, is the other Cora's estranged husband and he's furious by what he believes is her latest in a very long list of selfish acts. He hates the other Cora and no matter how much this Cora tries, she cannot convince him that she's not her.
The two are sort of stuck together, since Tor is honor bound to protect her from the witch that created the curse and her minions, while Cora needs him to survive. They form a sort of relationship that soon becomes real to Cora, but after they spend months together and she is happy and in love,
The two make up but are once again separated by the evil witch who just wants them to suffer and so transports Tor back to his world, and both of them are doing everything they can to get back to each other.
Eventually all misunderstandings are cleared up, everyone ends up where they belong and they live happily ever after, at least until.
It was an enjoyable story but it didn't have enough grovelling or warm and fuzzies to suit me. The series continues with Broken Dove, that follows right after the epilogue of this one, where.
