This book was very boring in my opinion with very little plot. It seemed very scattered in layout and design. (It should be noted that I really have enjoyed the original series, "Something is Killing the Children."

This book was everything I love -- it was queer, it had an angsty premise, it had a good story with good characters, it had hard-hitting moments. There really isn't much more I could have asked for. I love themes of fighting against the idea of emotions being something you should suppress, that loving people is a weakness. I love that both Jace and Aaron CHOOSE to love, to love each other, and love the families they created.

I wish that Jace and Aaron could be reunited, but that's just not how shit works in the world-- both in this world and our own. I can't wait to see Jace again in the mainline series and I will never get over the final lines of the book "Now tell me one thing before I go... What happens to love when we die?"

This line is gonna live in my head for a long time... and I'm glad it will.

I need more of this immediately! I’ve liked the concept, the characters, and the different storylines. More please!
