Beautiful, fun, fast paced. Curious to see where this leads.

3.5/4ish... I actually loved the idea of peeking inside the Order, but I don't think it was very nicely executed. And even with all this back story, Aaron is still a character very difficult to like.
Jace in the other hand ❤️

Let's just say I'm very excited Erica will be back later this month!

While I enjoyed seeing more about the House of Slaughter and learning more about Aaron, there was something a bit lacking in this story for me. I feel like there should have been more suspense maybe or more time spent with why Aaron was seen as so lacking or why the black bandanas had been decimated to just two students. This is a much smaller story about Aaron falling in love and trying to find a place and home with the new kid, who is full of anger. The art is beautifully dark and the set design is properly creepy. I only wish it had more to it.

the parallel story telling and the story as a whole  was confusing. there was too much info dump - too much to say over so little pages. plus the characters had no personality whatsoever.

This was such a beautiful story of how two houses come together. This volume was queer, and I was living for every moment of it. The way the author drew the graphics in and out of time was brilliantly done. If you want more info about my thoughts, the link is below.
