Con este libro confirmé que no continuaré con la saga. Fue una pereza enorme terminarlo, esa rutina de volver y reconciliarse me cansó desde la mitad del libro. Tessa es un dolor de cabeza y Hardin tiene sus momentos, pero ya no los soporto.

Hard to finish. Too much of the same back and forth. Same fights. Same everything. The cliffhanger from book one made me want to read the second....I should have just stopped.
La continuación de una historia debe suponer una evolución, tanto para los personajes como para la historia, pero creo que no aplica en este caso. La historia continua en peleas y reconciliaciones, en una Tessa que pasa de la inocencia y la ingenuidad a ser tonta y crédula, por otro lado un Hardin que se convierte en chico bueno de la noche a la mañana pero que sigue siendo el mismo cretino.
La historia no parece avanzar, solo continua en un camino al que le faltan muchas paginas para terminar, pero sin presentar nada nuevo y sin crear mayor emoción que la de saber que pasara con los personajes, ya que sus reacciones tampoco sorprenden ni sus estados de animo parecen presentar algo nuevo que los haga cambiar, por lo que la historia continua siendo igual de plana y en la que pasan un montón de cosas pero que no avanza.

I am reading this series of books with my 22 year old step daughter and while this is an out of the normal reading choice for me I must admit once I get going I can't put it down. I have stayed up far too late on more than one occasion.
The trials and tribulations of Hardin and Tessa suck you in and make it hard not to feel vested in their story. I hate to even admit it but I can't wait to find out what stupid thing they both do next and how long it will take for them to break down and forgive each other.

This one definitely helped calm my emotions from the first book but does Anna Todd understand what the end means? Both these books so far don’t end! It’s like to be continued every time! I hope the end of the series isn’t this cliff hanger-y.
This book took me a very long time to read. It basically took me almost three months. The reason was that it was to much for me. After the first book of the series left off on with both character breaking up because Hardin had bet on Tessa’s Virginity. It was a cliff hanger honestly so I decided to dive in into the other book which is this one as soon as I had closed the other book. IT WAS A BAD IDEA! These books are very angsty and I just couldn’t take it. So I stop reading for almost a month before picking this book up again. And it happened again I couldn’t do it. I left the book be for awhile until yesterday and decided that no matter what I was going to finish it this time.
Tessa and Hardin have a very different relationship and to be honest it’s not a healthy one. It’s entertaining to read about it and all but I don’t think people should idealize this type of Relationship.
As I was reading this book it felt as if I was rereading the same thing but in different words. Their fights are the same thing over and over. Tessa runs off and Hardin let her go. They look at eachother and there, it’s all forgiven!
Don’t get me wrong I loved After and the characters but let’s admit it these books are just a guilty pleasure that should have been kept in wattpad.
In Wattpad this book would be 5/5 stars but in the real world this book is 3/5 stars.

Mientras el primero es tan malo que entretiene, este es netamente malo.
Hardin es cada vez más agresivo, controlador y estúpidamente despreciable*. Tessa es simplemente más estúpida.
*Maltrato psicológico que incluye pero no se limita a: manipulación emocional, violencia imprevisible y desmesurada, abuso de sustancias como medio de amenaza, terror inducido.
No, esto no es romance.

PD: si la escritora es mala, los editores son peores. A este libro le sobran fácil 400 páginas. ¿Y ese capítulo dedicado a la menstruación de Tessa? Just no.
PDD: si por algún motivo decides leerlo a pesar de todo, la trama es tan repetitiva (pelea-llanto-reconciliación-pelea) que puedes saltarte capítulos enteros y no perderte de nada. Esto es un aviso público para tu salud mental.
