A dose of Steven Universe is exactly what I needed to get out of my latest reading funk. The stories are delightful and the artwork is absolutely on point. I want to marry some of these panels, no lie. Looking forward to reading more SU comics!

If you are already a fan of Steven Universe, you'll enjoy this collection of comics. It's pretty much just an assortment of comics and comic strips that are standalones, of varying quality but all at least fun. A couple of the character moments, do feel a bit out of cannon, but that's okay. If I had to choose my favorite, art-work wise, it would be the entries from Josceline Fenton's which are black and white, but look to me, most show-accurate.

If you aren't already a fan, you might still find it fun, but I think without knowing the characters, it won't be as enjoyable.

This is a really fun book the illustrations remind me of some of the illustrations from the ARCHIE Sonic the Hedgehog comic series, which is so unique and enjoyable.

Don't expect any more details for the plot of the show. These are just fun steven adventures that don't have any hint about the diamond authority or the mystery that surrounds the crystal gems. If you need a break from the emotional roller coaster that can be Steven universe (the T.V. Show) then this book is a delightful adventure! You can pick up this book at the Colona Public Library! ~Ashley

In the same tone and spirit of the cartoon series, this collection of comics follows Steven Universe and his friends as they enjoy life at Beach City and sometimes defeat alien monsters.

The longer issues, like "Open Mic" and "Taxi" still wrap up in under twenty pages and have a full story woth a plot dilemma, characters learning/understanding something or someone, and resolution. While some can finish in one or two pages revolving around a gag or theme. Personally, my favorites tend to be the longer stories. And the ones featuring Lion are the funniest and most endearing.

This is a gentle and lighthearted series that is great for younger kids, but relies on previous knowledge of the show to really work.

I loved this comic book, mostly because of the dynamic, quirky art. also because this show is absolutely amazing. several plot lines in the short stories were flat though, but others were really cute (especially josceline fenton's and rebecca sugar's stories!). and i adore the cover gallery in the end, such colours!

it took me an embarrassingly long time to understand that these were different little stories so, not gonna lie, i spent half of this graphic novel confused as hell. however, once i got into the mindset of jumping from story to story very quickly, it was pretty good.

Steven Universe is a lovely anthology full of short stories based on the show. The art is great, the stories are amusing and witty- my one complaint is the speech bubbles. The artists have little sense of pacing the words together and many pages feel very cramped.
