Audiobook

This book was not for me. I did not enjoy the fact that there is no setting, no description of any place or time. The characters were never physically described so there was no mental pictures in my head. I like to disappear into the story, but this fantasy book did not have a world to go to. I did not like any of the characters and the dialogue just kept on and on… I did finish it for book club, but I would not recommend.

1.5 ⭐️

A multi POV story about 6 magicians getting selected to go the the Alexandria society. Having to fight one another as only one gets to win and be elected as the greatest magician.

As good as the story started, was it kind of boring, the story goes on and just gets boring after every chapter. The ending just got more tedious (skipped some chapters as i felt that i was just wasting my time) and there were so many words yet nothing was being told. The characters aren’t also likeable, like I didn’t like ONE.

The only thing I enjoyed about this story was when they talk about sciences or philosophy. It was really interesting and learned a few things but it wasn’t eye opening

After all I don’t recommend this book, but it’s not the worst one i’ve read so far
