This girl is so god damn stubborn. The boy is as possessive and obsessed with his mate as is expected as a werewolf (less sometimes honestly). This girl has issues being tied down and loosing her freedom, completely understandable with her backstory, but she REFUSES to talk about it with him. She has 2 friends she constantly talks to about her issues and their advice is always different versions of “you already gave me this advice and ima give it back to you. Talk to the man and explain it to him.” She tried to be her mates roommate. (If you know anything about werewolves, that’s an impossibility) and she’s so obviously trying to avoid him but not really cuz she still needs him to drink his blood and is super attracted to him. He goes at her pace (his human part at least) and she’s the one that jumps him every time! It’s so frustrating how much she says she wants freedom and to not be here without telling him why or what that means. Some of her fiends give him a little hint and he immediately jumps on it and tries to help her.
Anyways, I gave it 2.75 stars because while that was frustrating it wasn’t the miscommunication troupe, it was closer to no communication, but the personalities and banter was cute.
TLDR: Girl wants werewolf friends with benefits without the feelings. Werewolf wants her in every way shape and form. We watch them compromise for 4 hours.

This was cute insanely quick read. I feel like there could’ve been more plot, though it was like pure fluff, which is OK sometimes, but literally there was no conflict at all in the story.
