Short review of three points; 
1) Odysseus is a sociopath and would absolutely shoot a man in Reno just to watch him die. 
2) The sad bit with the dog breaks me every time in every translation
3) Penguin Clothbound Classics often do not wear well under heavy use, the foil design has a habit of separating.
