I’m very happy to have got the ending to this series that I was hoping for. I just wish it was longer! Everything happens so fast in the book because it’s so short, and is dragged out so much in the tv show it felt hard to compare. But I can say I am really looking forward to seeing the end of the book played out on the show.

This was the third book in The Summer I Turned Pretty series. I am in my 30’s so young adult books are not my thing. However, I love the show on Amazon Prime, so I wanted to read the series too. The writing is fast and easy, making this a quick read. I enjoyed the plot and ending of this book much better than the second one. It was an overall enjoyable read. I would say that because I have the show to go with the book, I am able to take the book plots and see them flushed out much more in the show. Leading me to give a higher rating on this book. If the show didn’t exist, I think I would not have read these or liked them as much. The FMC still annoys me at times but overall it is a sweet series and decent summer read.
